We love seeing what our midwest nice artists are up to! Congratulations to Jane Waggoner Deschner for her work in Buffalo Bill Center of the West’s POP! Goest the West. The exhibition opens May 24, 2025 and runs through January 26, 2026. ✨ Jane was featured in our Art as Storytelling, a fervent and necessary arrangement, and the upcoming nice;03 exhibitions.

Susan Barnett, the Margaret and Dick Scarlett Curator of Western American Art at the Whitney Western Art Museum says of the exhibition,

“The artworks in POP! Goes the West are playful, eye-catching, and insightful. We’re inviting visitors to consider how popular media and art have influenced their understanding of the West—its histories, peoples, and identities. The show is filled with dynamic visuals, but beneath the bright colors are important questions about what stories we tell about the West and who gets to tell them.”
