epiphany knedler with Lensculture critics’ choice 2025

we love seeing what our midwest nice artists are up to! over the summer, MNA co-founder, Epiphany Knedler, had her project the specifics might be vague selected in the Lensculture 2025 critics’ choice awards, as well as the Top Ten!

For Critics’ Choice, each of the 19 internationally respected experts on this year’s panel was asked to select three personal favorites to win an award. And for each selection, we asked the experts to write a short explanation about why the winners captured their attention enough to reward it with a Critics’ Choice Award.

The work was highlighted by Robert Morat of Robert Morat Galerie and Sam Mercer of The Photographers’ Gallery. The Top Ten selections were awarded a $1000 cash prize and will be part of a group exhibition in New York in 2026.
