Gesamtkunstwerk / a total work of art: "We want you to question your uses of material in your studios”, and the 50 pieces in this exhibition do exactly that. The range of materials — from wood and found objects, to paint and paper — so many elements, layers, and textures working together to bring ideas to life. All of this work makes me want to roll up my sleeves and run to my studio to play with as many materials as possible. I hope viewing “Gesamtkunstwerk” brings you as much inspiration as the selected artists clearly had while making the work.
